Contributor Guidelines
Fibre Broadband Northern Ireland welcomes contributions from writers, researchers, and industry observers with a genuine interest in fibre broadband, digital infrastructure, and connectivity developments across Northern Ireland.
We are particularly interested in content that provides clear, well-researched, and balanced insight into topics such as broadband availability, network rollout, technology developments, regulatory changes, and consumer guidance. Submissions should aim to inform readers through accurate analysis, thoughtful commentary, or well-supported opinion.
Fibre Broadband Northern Ireland does not accept content created for promotional purposes, submissions written on behalf of commercial clients, or articles that are primarily intended to advertise specific providers, products, or services.
All submissions must be original and not previously published elsewhere. Any claims that are not widely accepted knowledge should be supported by reliable and verifiable sources. Accuracy is essential, and misleading, exaggerated, or unsubstantiated statements are not permitted. Submissions should be written in UK English and maintain a clear, neutral, and professional tone suitable for an informational editorial platform.
Writers are encouraged to submit a brief proposal before preparing a full article. This proposal should outline the topic, the key argument or focus, and any relevant sources or expertise. Fibre Broadband Northern Ireland aims to review submissions within a reasonable timeframe and may provide feedback where appropriate.
Accepted submissions may be edited for clarity, structure, tone, and consistency with editorial standards. Contributors will be informed where significant changes are made prior to publication.
Author biographies should be concise and relevant to the subject matter. A limited number of external links may be included where appropriate and where they provide additional informational value to readers.
By submitting content, contributors confirm that their work is original, that they have the right to publish it, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. Fibre Broadband Northern Ireland retains the right to publish, edit, and archive accepted content indefinitely as part of its editorial library.
Corrections Policy
Fibre Broadband Northern Ireland is committed to maintaining accuracy, transparency, and editorial integrity in all published content.
Where factual errors are identified, they are reviewed and corrected as promptly as possible. Corrections are made clearly within the content, and where appropriate, an accompanying note is included to explain the nature of the correction and the date it was made.
Requests for corrections may be submitted through the website’s contact method. Such requests should include the relevant page, a clear explanation of the issue, and any supporting evidence. Each request is carefully considered, and a response is provided within a reasonable timeframe.
Fibre Broadband Northern Ireland does not alter editorial opinions, remove content, or revise articles solely on the basis of disagreement. Corrections apply only to verifiable factual inaccuracies or materially misleading information.
Where a correction request is declined and new evidence becomes available, the request may be resubmitted for further review.
